Montalivet naturist beach

Montalivet naturist beach is located in Vendays-Montalivet, in the Landes du Médoc, at more or less one and half an hour in the north of Bordeaux.

Vendays-Montalivet is a coastal village of the Gironde department, in the west of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is located in the Médoc on the "côte d'Argent". In the north, Soulac-sur-Mer and in the south the lake of Hourtin. It is split up in two parts : Vendays-Montalivet, the village and Montalivet-les-Bains on the Atlantic coast. The population grows from 2 500 inhabitants in the winter to 30 000 in the summer !

Between the things to see around Vendays-Montalivet, we think more particularly at :

- 12 km of beaches with the label "pavillon bleu".
- 6 000 hectares of forest of the Landes du Médoc.
- The Médoc vineyards.
- The Hourtin lake at 21 km.
- The Cordouan lighthouse from 1611 at 26 km.
- Royan at 37 km.
- The Lacanau lake at 44 km.
- Bordeaux at 80 km.

If you stay at CHM Montalivet

If you have the chance to spend your holiday at the CHM Montalivet, you have already done the toughest part of the route. You just need to decide if you want to go to Montalivet naturist beach by the access 1 or 2.
The access 1 passes beside the fantastic water park of CHM with its water slides and its solarium. At the end, you will find the more lively part of the beach with its beach volleyball field and the main lifeguards' post.
For the access 2, you cross the campsite via the quarter Ajoncs. It leads you to a quieter part of the beach, preferred by holidaymakers fond of calmness and rest. It is the perfect place to read your summer novel !

Note that it is possible to be asked to undress when you access to the beach, naturist places oblige !

If you stay somewhere else

Go to the "avenue de l'Europe" in Vendays-Montalivet. Park before the CHM Montalivet. Take the road on the right of CHM to reach the beach. Arrived on the sand, go to the left, to find Montalivet naturist beach.

CHM Montalivet is located at the border of the Atlantic Ocean and offers more than 3000 pitches and accommodations spread over more than 200 hectares pine forest. It is a real icon for naturism, being a place where naturists have already come since 70 years or for 4 generations. At the CHM "Monta", naturism is a life style lived in family and in entire security.
On the site : a water park with water slides, a covered swimming pool, a spa, handicraft workshops, a playground, children clubs, an open air cinema, a shopping centre, restaurants, a surf and diving school, and last but not least, a naturist beach of 2 km.
To accommodate, you can choose between tents on stilts, chalets, safari tents, beach cabins with view on the ocean...
