Torreilles naturist beach

Like its name says, Torreilles naturist beach is located in Torreilles and more precisely in Torreilles-Plage, which is the seaside part of the town.

Torreilles is a town in the Pyrénées-Orientales department, in the Occitanie region. It counts more or less 3800 permanent inhabitants.

Between the places to visit around Torreilles, we think specially at :

- The Mediterranean Sea with the sand beaches.
- In Torreilles, the Saint-Julien church and the Juhègues chapel.
- Just in the north,the seaside resort of Barcarès.
- Just in the south, the seaside resort of Sainte-Marie-la-Mer.
- Perpignan at 15 km from Torreilles-Plage.
- Rivesaltes at 18 km.
- The fortress of Salses at 18 km.
- Collioure at 37 km.
- Port-Vendres at 40 km, Banyuls-sur-Mer at 45 km ...

1 Drive to the big roundabout on the D 81, at the west of Torreilles-Plage, between the streams L'Agly and Le Bourdigoul.

2 Leave the roundabout by following the sign "Torreilles-Plage".

3 Just after the sign indicating the beginning of the town of Torreilles, take directly to the right, by following the small white signboard "Plage naturiste" (naturist beach).

4 Pass in front of the counter "A la bonne poutine", then in front of the restaurant "Le jardin", the mini-golf, the chip stand...

5 Drive straight ahead about 700 m, then turn to the left at the signs "Plage Sud", "Plage naturiste"...

6 Drive straight ahead about 1,3 km to reach the big parking of Torreilles naturist beach (ignore the dead end at 800 on your right and the parking, that seems unused, on the flood zone at 900 m on your left).

7 Park on the parking.

8 Don't leave the parking by the path completely at the left that leads to the textile beach restaurants : Maya on the left and Zaza on the right.

Take, or the path on the left, with the special floor and preceded by a board that shows the limits of the naturist beach (photo)). It brings you to the beginning of the naturist zone. Notice, just before the sand, the blue sign to the right with the inscription "Naturiste".

Or the path on the right of the parking, without a special floor, preceded by the same board and that leads to the middle of the naturist zone.

9 Make yourself comfortable on the beach.

Beware, curiously, there is no sign directly on the beach indicating the presence and the limits of the naturist area. The more you go to the right, the calmer, but attention, because the beach turns textile at the end on your right just before the stream Le Bourgidoul... or even earlier, given that there are no boards on the beach...
